Something that I enjoyed with my family

As you all knew that the holiday I wrote in the previous posts, it said we went to pangkok. Well, I am going to tell you about my holidays about that more in detailed.
When we left our room, it was raining heavily that day and we asked for a taxi. My sister and I entered the taxi first while my parents went to help put our luggage. So, obviously, they were almost drenched when they finally finished putting all luggages and entered the taxi. We quickly rushed off to Lavender Square to take our bus there to the port. It was almost morning when we aboard the bus.
We slept and looked at the scenery and slept again since we cannot do any other stuff. After what seemed eternity, we finally reached the port. We took the boat and we soon reached the island. We went to the "resort" to put our things before we go out to play or have our dinner. The room was cramps for 4 people to sleep in it. That one of the bad things I can say right now.
We went to deep jungle to see what is inside. We were supposed to wear long pants and sport shoe as there is leeches ready to suck your blood if you did not noticed for quite a while. And sadly, what we thought so really happen. My dad's friend quickly destroys the leeches from sucking some more blood from him. The blood (Your blood) came out when you burst it. Scary leeches.
After a series of activities of walking, water and eating too, we were reluctant to go back but we have no choice.
After taking the boat to port, we bought bus tickets to reach there. But after losing the way, we used the taxi to reach there fast, the Firefly Park.
The resort is really the cool-fashioned style. It was beautifully decorated. We take a boat trip (just a short one) to see the firefly along the side. When the guide kept saying “Do no use flash light." But every few minutes, people used the flash light.
We went to monkey hill too, which is located near the town. It was full of monkey at the highest part of the hill. Cannons were remained over there after the war too. We went to the heritage centre to learn more about their history before walking back down the hill slope.
At the very last day, we bought souvenirs at the Firefly Park’s store. We then took a bus to KL before taking another bus to Singapore, back to the Lavender Square.
We really have lots of lots of fun over there since it is overseas too. We learnt more about the history of the Malaysia and its culture. It was a very meaningful trip for me.

Problems we managed to solve ( During Holiday)

These problems happened when my family, I and my dad's friends' family went to the holiday in the Malaysia. I believe most of you people have already gone to Malaysia before? That holiday we went to is a island near Malaysia called Pangkok. You got to take a bus to the bus terminal at the deeper of Malaysia, then to the port and take a boat to reach there.
Anyway back to the question, what problems will we have? Communication? Nope, since my dad's friend is capable in speaking Malay. So, what then? Well, this is what it happened.
First, we managed to take a bus to the Malaysia and reached the port. We took a boat and we reached there about half and hour or so. We reached the resort we supposed to sleep in. BUT when we reached, we saw our "resort" and were gasped speechlessly. In the internet, it said it was a nice and relaxing place with nice buildings but it was totally different when we saw it. Soon, the adults discussed what should they do, stay or find another place. In the end, we decided to stay there since we have no other choice and we did not want to ruin our plan and moods. Luckily, we soon fitted to the surroundings since it was really not too bad.
We have a lot of funs down there and we soon left the island for our next destination, Firefly Park. We reached to port and have to buy bus tickets at the bus terminal which is located at quite a far distance from the port. BUT when my dad's friend reached there, they told them all their tickets were sold and have to wait for 2 to 3 hours. After that long-waiting hours, we walked to there for the bus and we aboard it.
Little did we knew, half way through, the bus punctured. We had to alight the bus and wait for the back-up bus reached there which only arrived after 1hour so. Finally, we aboard the bus and asked for direction to the bus terminal that is near the firefly park. We then alight the bus and tried to reach the place with the bus driver's help just now. BUT we lost our way. We had no choice but to take the taxi to reach the firefly park before the sun sets.

Fortunately, after that incident, we have not much trouble continued our trip. So obviously, we have fun in the Firefly Park and scenery in the town near the firefly park.
UNTIL, the last day, we have to take a bus from firefly park to KL. We bought bus tickets that are 4-star bus for all of us. AND yet we found the bus to be a bus we far from what we wanted. We demanded refund and managed to get it.

We then able to get the bus we really wanted and we aboard it to reach to Singapore. ONLY until we reached Singapore, we found cockroaches running around the bus. I was shocked. Apparently, we have a 4-star bus and yet there were cockroaches running around anywhere in it ?
Just as we thought nothing bad will happen anymore, we suddenly realized the storage for luggage is opened and some luggage are gone. With luck, we were able to find it at the exit of the expression to the road and it is lying all along roadside.

Why is the holiday so unlucky? Why? Nonetheless, the holiday is still able to continue on time and we have a lot of fun.

This proved that no problems can't be solved.

Somthing happen in school ( NPCC UTC )

During in the last week of December holiday, we have a camp by my CCA, NPCC called UTC also known as, and unit training camp. We will be promoted if we attend the camp till the very last day. So, of course, this camp is held every year end.
We packed our things the day before the camp and we were nervous or excited since it was our first time having this UTC and we did not know what would happen there. So we went to the school for the camp with a curiosity heart.
We fall in at 6.45 a.m. and put our bags aside before proceed to the parade square for our physical training (PT). But before that, they told as the rules about this camp. No leaving partner alone or they will be "coop" and we have to redeem it by doing push-up as punishment for leaving them alone. This teaches us to have responsible to anything. Second rule; always run in a clockwise direction unless you are told not to do so. The 12 o' clock is the canteen. Thirdly, ask for permission to enter any place.
After our talk about rules, we had our warm up first at the parade square before going to our station. We got to do half squat, crunches, push-up, star jump as many as possible in order to win a prize. We did 330 half squat, 300 crunches, 270 push-up and 290 star jump in total. We were totally dreary. But even doing so many, we did not win. The other barrack does much much more than us.
After the PT, we played lots of other activities, games before our lunch. Most of the game was teaching us about the importance of teamwork and strategy. During the lunch, we took our box of supplies that will be lasting us for the 3 whole days. It is all instant noodles and canned food like sardines, pineapples, baked beans, curry chicken and tuna. Cooking under the stove with solid fuel burning, we boiled the water and cooked the noodles. We opened some cans like pineapples for additional type of food.
After our lunch, we have a RPG game where we can battle each other using cards. If you win, you take the loser's money. If you lose, you got to give all the money to the winner. If you do not want to battle as you know you will lose, run as fast as possible before the challenger can tap you for a battle. With the help of our sirs, we managed to win the game and have a prize, a packet of chip more cookies. Then we have a series of other game that needed teamwork, until our dinner.
Same for the lunch, we have to eat the same supplies. Waiting for the water to boil is the painful and test patience part of our dinner.
With have another series of game before going to sleep at 9 p.m. since we have to run for a long distance the next day.
We woke up at 5 a.m. and be ready at 6 a.m. before we start our morning exercise and have our breakfast. Fortunately, for breakfast, it is not noodles but bread and jam.
We have a whole series of games involve as running around the whole school which act as a warm-up for our long run or walk. We have game like finding the place and getting the code placed there.
After a long time, we finally reached our lunch. As expected, we have noodles and canned food again. You see, we are really getting sick of noodles anymore. No choice, we still have noodles for our lunch.
We soon went to the East Coast Park for our activities, Land Expedition, in short, Land-Ex. We got to go from place to place and finish the mission needed for us to proceed to next station. With our hint from our sir, we managed to have a power-card : Skip one station. We choose to skip the last station that is very far from there. This saved lots of our time. And of course, we won the whole game and have a 20 minutes rest before the other barrack can reach the finish point.
Soon after this, we have another series of game. But this time, it is different from other series of games, we have water game. WATER BAG! Obviously, we got wet in the end of the game.
After the water game, we have our dinner. SAME thing over again. All of us were sick of noodles. Some even joked that they will not be eating any noodles after going home for weeks.
After dinner, we have campfire. We sang cheers and acted out a story related to prehistorically creatures since this year UTC’s theme is PREHISTORICAL CREATURES.
After campfire, we have our last game for UTC, commando's night. We were supposed to put out other people's strings which is located at the back. Collect as many strings as possible and win the game.
After the game, we have our supper: biscuit and salt water. Salt water. NO kidding. It is really super salty. I almost vomited after drinking the water but luckily, I didn't.
We then went to sleep after supper. We were all excited as the next day is going to be the last day for the camp and we will be able to go home.
After what seemed eternity, it is finally morning, the last day of camp. We were asked to clean the whole canteen and the utensils.
After the cleaning, we have our briefing and prize-giving. We managed to win some "awards" and get food as present.
And finally, we were allowed to go home after taking our bags. YES! Freedom! At last, we can go home.
This UTC really teaches us a lot of things. Although I am really very tired after that…

A moment spend alone playing my computer game that I enjoyed (GRAND CHASE)

When I was alone spending my time in the house, I would play my computer game. What game would I play? Well, other than Maple sea, I would also play another game, known as Grand Chase.
What is Grand Chase? Grand Chase is a Fantasy MMO Fighter Platform Side-scroller, downloadable game. The developer is KOC Studios and the publishers are Gamania, Ntreev Soft, Level Up! Games. It used to have Asia soft as one of the publishers but it terminate the contract at April 2009.
I used to play under that publisher but now it terminated and could not play this game for a long time until recently, I found the game under the publisher of Ntreev Soft. I quickly downloaded it and played. Not much change in the game I played last time. Finally, after 7 months, I could play back the game I always wanted to play.
This game has varieties of dungeons modes and Players versus Players (PvP). There is experience (EXP) to level up, parties to finish the dungeons together and Boss rush which advances to boss without going through other stages required to reach boss.
As for PvP, there are also different of fighting modes: Team battles which fights with each team, either red/blue until one team is down. Survival which kills each other alone until the one survives only. The last person who is defeated and the last person survives win. There are PvP options too: Tag match allows you to change into another characters during the match. Item mode is that item that helps in fightings will drop down from the sky anytime, anywhere and can be used by pressing certain buttons.
There are different characters for you to be. Nine jobs to be exact but you will have 3 characters as the basic, warrior (Elesis), mage (Arme) and bowman (Lire). If you slowly unlock the other characters, you will have spell knight (Ronan), druid (Ryan), fighter (Jin), dancer (Amy), thief (Lass) and gladiator (Sieghart) as the full set.
I like this game because this game needs lots of strategies to win the match, stage or dungeons. This game teaches us to plan a strategy before attacking since the levels of the players or monster is different and harder to kill or easily be killed.
So whenever I spent time alone, I will play Grand Chase since it'a fun computer game that I enjoyed very much.
If you are interested in this game after my introduction, this is the website to download the game : grandchase.ntreev.net

Something unusual happened

Something unusual happened on the Monday. Very unusual. What happened? Well, you will not be able to see me in the class that afternoon, 1.05pm if you happened to walk past. So why you I am not in class? Don't guess anymore. That's right. It's NEGC.
What NEGC? NEGC stands for NE Gaming Championship. It stages every year for the purpose of engaging students on issues of Defence and National Service. And the game platform used is based on realistic first person shooter training simulation software, Virtual Battle space 2 (VBS2).
Well, since my CCA is npcc, we were asked to join this competition and we agreed. And the first training is that Monday, January 18, 2.30 p.m. We were supposed to reach there by 2.00 p.m. So we were asked to leave class at 1.05 p.m which means we are going to skip our literature class. Hooray! You see, I'm a typical and lazy student.
After skipping literature lesson (with legal permission- no playing truant!), we had lunch and went to the H.I.G.H cafe, also known as LAN shop together with my other npcc's friends. After a bus trip, a distant walk and few flights of stairs, we finally reached the place. It was pretty dark inside. No lighting, just lights from the computer screen. It's clean over there too with a mini pub at the other end and many Intel computers at the other end.
Soon, we start playing the games and start with the training first. We learnt how to control, have a obstacles course, trying variety of weapons and lastly, learning how to use the map for planning.
We then have a real match with other school, CCS, then we fight we each other. As we first time playing this game, we kept taking our own teammates as enemy and friendly kills each other. And the bad thing about this game: no revive. If you are dead, you are dead.
After playing 3 hour straight computer except 10 minutes break to buy food, we told to stop the game. NO... No more computers... But it was really fun. After this game, I realized two things: First, the graphics for the VBS2 is so terrible, so wrong. For example, if you are inside the building, when you turn the angle of view, you are suddenly outside. Second, my eyes were so dreary that it wanted to close. Look like playing computer game without lightings and straight for 3 hours are really bad for me.
So that day was really a unusual day to me. Well, maybe 8 February and 24 February too... since my training included that day.
P.S. We were not allowed to use camera at that place and we also did not have time to photo so there is no picture to show you. So sorry!

(MAPLESEA) My favourite game!

Hi, it's me again, Ben! This time I am going to introduce you my favourite game. As you all can see from the title, my favourite game is ... MAPLESEA! Well, why is this favourite game? Okay, let me tell you what MAPLESEA is all about and allow me to list a few reasons why I play this game.
What is MAPLESEA? MAPLESEA is all about 3D roll multiplayer online gaming which is about a character going through the adventure until it reached to the maximum level. And you are the one that controlling the character. There are different types of characters like Adventures, Knight Of Cygnus, Aran and Evans (although it haven't come out). Each type carries different story. And the story only revealed each time you leveled your character up.
You can play quests, minigames, and training by fighting off monsters and you can even have marriage! To level up, you can fight monster to get EXP (experience) or doing quest, party quest. Each level has a cap. Once you reached the cap, you will level up by one. But watch up for your HP (health point)! If your health point is 0, you will consider as dead and your EXP will minus by a certain percentage. Think about that hard-earned EXP gone just like that!
You also have MP (mana point). You can use this for spells or special attack. But this is different from HP, if your MP is 0, you will not die. Anyway, HP and MP can be recovered by every 10 second or by using pots which can be bought through stores all towns.
The virtual dollars use is known as mesos. Mesos can be earned by fighting monster and collect it or selling items to other for money.
You can also buy @-cash using real Singapore money to buy items that can enhance your characters' skill or appearance. You can also buy pets to help you or buy others stuff or equip.
This is quite some summary of mine about MAPLESEA. Let me show you why I will like that game.
First, it is fun! You can go online with friends or other people playing that game.
Second, it is very relaxing...unless you are using all your might to reach to the maximum level. You can talk with your friend in the game, playing with them or challenge them to see whose level is the highest.
Lastly, it has different aims for you to achieve. At least, you will not get bored whenever you online and don't know what to do next...unless, you finished the whole mission or story. Even so, you can create character and plays diffrent types of characters.
Well, this is my introduction about my favourite game, MAPLESEA! (Quite a lot of information though). Well, see you till next time. Bye!

Food!

Hi, as you all know it's me, Ben here again. Well, today I am introducing the food that I like to eat. As you all know from the previous posts, my favourite food consists of seafood, which I will be introducing it now. Yippee!
Okay, let’s me introduce you the first food. It is called salted prawn (of course!). The method for cooking this prawn is very easy. Well, all you have to get is tiger prawn (try not to shell it) and some salt. Cook it together and you will get the dish. It tasted salty but it tastes perfect with the plain rice which makes it very delicious. When you cooked the fresh prawn, the red juice of the prawn will flow out and if it goes with your rice, it matches flawlessly. Simply delicious! Or it can also go with the prawn that you have shelled it. Trust me. It is really good, which is why I like this food.
As for the next favourite food I going to introduce, it is called the big shells. There are a lot of different type of shells like "lala","choo choo" or "ham", commonly find in Singapore. But for this food, you will have to get the bigger ones. You can put spring onions or onions too, enhancing the smells in the shells. You can have lots of methods for this, but what the method it cooked is the onions with salt. This food, to me is like heaven since I love it very much. The delicious shells and its juice matched with my plain rice. My saliva is dripping even just by thinking of it. Yum!
Well, this is the end of my little introducing of my favourite food. You can also try the methods I wrote. Well, if you don't believe what I wrote, why not cook for yourself? Who knows, you may even like it instead!

Birthday!
