Something unusual happened

Something unusual happened on the Monday. Very unusual. What happened? Well, you will not be able to see me in the class that afternoon, 1.05pm if you happened to walk past. So why you I am not in class? Don't guess anymore. That's right. It's NEGC.
What NEGC? NEGC stands for NE Gaming Championship. It stages every year for the purpose of engaging students on issues of Defence and National Service. And the game platform used is based on realistic first person shooter training simulation software, Virtual Battle space 2 (VBS2).
Well, since my CCA is npcc, we were asked to join this competition and we agreed. And the first training is that Monday, January 18, 2.30 p.m. We were supposed to reach there by 2.00 p.m. So we were asked to leave class at 1.05 p.m which means we are going to skip our literature class. Hooray! You see, I'm a typical and lazy student.
After skipping literature lesson (with legal permission- no playing truant!), we had lunch and went to the H.I.G.H cafe, also known as LAN shop together with my other npcc's friends. After a bus trip, a distant walk and few flights of stairs, we finally reached the place. It was pretty dark inside. No lighting, just lights from the computer screen. It's clean over there too with a mini pub at the other end and many Intel computers at the other end.
Soon, we start playing the games and start with the training first. We learnt how to control, have a obstacles course, trying variety of weapons and lastly, learning how to use the map for planning.
We then have a real match with other school, CCS, then we fight we each other. As we first time playing this game, we kept taking our own teammates as enemy and friendly kills each other. And the bad thing about this game: no revive. If you are dead, you are dead.
After playing 3 hour straight computer except 10 minutes break to buy food, we told to stop the game. NO... No more computers... But it was really fun. After this game, I realized two things: First, the graphics for the VBS2 is so terrible, so wrong. For example, if you are inside the building, when you turn the angle of view, you are suddenly outside. Second, my eyes were so dreary that it wanted to close. Look like playing computer game without lightings and straight for 3 hours are really bad for me.
So that day was really a unusual day to me. Well, maybe 8 February and 24 February too... since my training included that day.
P.S. We were not allowed to use camera at that place and we also did not have time to photo so there is no picture to show you. So sorry!

Birthday!
